Jewellery Care Guide

  • Store Properly: Keep your jewellery in a safe, dry place when you’re not wearing it. Use a soft cloth pouch or a jewellery box to protect against scratches.
  • Avoid Exposure to Harsh Chemicals: Perfume, lotions, cleaning products, and hair sprays can damage the finish. Always apply these before putting on your jewellery.
  • Remove During Activities: Take your jewellery off when exercising, swimming, or doing housework to prevent accidental damage.

Caring for Specific Materials

Gold and Silver

  • Gold: Over time, gold jewellery may tarnish slightly due to exposure to oils and environmental elements. Clean gently with a soft cloth to maintain its shine.
  • Silver: To prevent tarnishing, store your silver jewellery in a dark, cool place. Use a jewellery cleaning cloth or a mild soap solution for cleaning, but avoid using harsh chemicals.

Gemstones (including Opals & Sapphires)

  • Keep gemstones away from harsh chemicals and abrasive surfaces to preserve their natural beauty.
  • For cleaning, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and allow your gemstones to air dry naturally.
  • Be mindful of opals—they are delicate stones and can be sensitive to sudden temperature changes.

Pearls

  • Pearls require special care. Wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing to remove oils and perspiration.
